The “To Do” List

Yesterday I gave my older son a list of things to Do while I was at work:

Dogs

Dishes

Dirty laundry

Dinner

Then later, I asked him to Drive his brother to swim practice.

Today I am going to ask him to Dust.

We laughed because, as you can see, all the chores start with the letter “D”.

In a few weeks he leaves for college.

What do I want him to Do while he is there?

• Develop friendships
• Delight in learning
• Determine to study and learn
• Decree his Christianity
• Decide to follow through, even when things are Difficult.

And …. Drive home to see his mom, sometimes…

I am going to really miss him!
